Pran Dantanarayana
Founder, Managing Director
Pran is the founder of LongView Owners. Over the last decade, his goal has been to help great small businesses to stay in business and thrive. In this time, he has worked with small businesses in executive roles, as an investor, and as a consultant; in both NZ and the UK.
Prior to founding LongView Owners, Pran was helping small business owners across NZ find a succession solution for their business and retire. He saw for himself the succession crisis facing these great Kiwi businesses. Too often, owners who had spent years building their companies struggled to find a buyer who would not only offer a fair price but also respect their legacy and provide a smooth transition out of ownership and management.
To bridge this gap, Pran launched LongView Owners with a small group of aligned small business entrepreneurs and investors. Pran's focus is enabling succession for one business owner, by buying and then managing one great Kiwi business over the long-term.
Pran is married to his high school girlfriend, Mollie, and they have a son, Oliver. Pran is a competitive football and tennis player, a keen hiker, and a pretty average golfer.

We recognise that selling your business is a significant and possibly once-in-a-lifetime event for you. We aim to be as transparent and upfront about our process and preferences to respect your time. While some of the specifics may change, below is an overview of our typical process.

The purpose of this first call is to determine if there is mutual fit and possibility of creating a succession plan for you.
We like to first get to know you and then the business. We love to hear the founding story and journey of how the business got to where it is today, and what your future goals are.
We will share more about us and answer any questions you have about who we are, our motivations and our possible plans for your business.
